Bookshelves for Kids

Our community partner, CHAC Family Resource Centers, was having trouble getting dads involved in their programming. But when they started a 24/7 Dads program that included building and painting a bookshelf, they found that dads were excited about the program and stuck around.

Now they need more shelves to build so that they can expand their programming to more dads. And that’s where we come in!

We’ve collected scrap lumber that we’re going to turn into book nook parts for dads to put together with their kids. But we need your help! We’ll be cutting, sanding, and putting together sides of book nooks for CHAC Family Resource Centers, and we need your help!

We’ll gather on Friday, November 5, to work on this project. Stop by whenever you’re available between 2 PM and 6 PM. We’ll be working and grateful for your help. Meet us in my driveway at 96 Paul Avenue, Mountain View.
