What’s Next

During the height of the pandemic, our plans were often, “If we can,” or “Depending on cases.” We still live in uncertainty, knowing that plans can change with changes in caseloads, exposures, and things we haven’t even thought of yet. But things are also different now. Yes, it is possible that a surge in cases could completely derail something. But it is clear that we have learned ways to do things as safely as possible, and we’re moving toward MORE interaction, not less. So finally, after many months of “hopefully” and “it depends,” we are ready to have some things on the calendar!

We’ve got some big dreams—to create neighborhoods where EVERYONE can flourish through connection, compassion, and courage. We think that the word neighbor is actually a verb and that our work is to show up for one another and the people who work, live and play around us. And now, after months of wondering and making tentative plans to do some big things, we’re putting those things on the calendar.

I hope you’ll take note and be present. I’m excited about what’s next.

In Community,

Sam
